4) Flat Welding Flange
Flat welding flanges include plate flat welding flanges and neck flat welding flanges.
- Plate flat welding flanges (PL)
Flat welding flange is suitable for steel pipe connections with nominal pressure not exceeding 2.5MPa. The sealing surface of flat welding flange can be made into three types: smooth type, concave and convex type and tongue and groove type. Smooth flat welding flange has the largest application volume. It is mostly used when the medium conditions are relatively mild, such as low-pressure non-purified compressed air and low-pressure circulating water. - Flat welding flanges with neck (SO)
The neck height of the flat-welded flange with neck is lower, which improves the stiffness and load-bearing capacity of the flanges. Compared with butt welding flanges, the welding workload is large, the welding rod consumption is high, and it cannot withstand high temperature and pressure, repeated bending and temperature fluctuations, but it is more convenient to install on site and can omit the process of patting and rubbing the weld seam, so it is more popular.
5) Neck Butt Welding (WN)
Butt Weld Flanges: Neck flange welds are often referred to as “high hub” flanges. Its purpose is to transfer pressure from the pipe, thereby reducing high stress concentrations in the flanges base. Neck flanges welding is the best design butt welding available for those flanges due to their inherent structural value. However, the price is relatively high because of the complex production process of the product.
Threaded flange: This threaded flanges is connected with threaded threads, but the center of the product has a thread size corresponding to the pipe. Its main advantage is that it can be assembled without welding.
In addition, there are sliding flanges and lap flanges.
6) Socket welding flange (SW)

Flange cover(BL)
