Tungsten-Molybdenum-Tantalum Corrosion Resistant Bolts
The difference between three material bolts
Main ingredients and properties:
molybdenum bolt: the main component is molybdenum (Mo), the purity of up to 99.95% or more.
It has good high temperature resistance and can withstand high temperatures of up to 1600°C-1700°C.
Molybdenum bolt is mainly used for fixing molybdenum plate electrode in glass fiber production,
fixing high temperature mechanical parts, sintering furnace occluding parts, etc.
Tantalum bolts:
The main component is tantalum (Ta), which has a steel-gray appearance and a high density (16.6g/cm³).
Tantalum has a low hardness, but it is very malleable and can be drawn into thin wires or made into thin foils.
Tantalum bolts are widely used in chemical, electronic, electrical and other industries,
which can replace stainless steel and precious metal platinum, improve the service life of equipment and reduce costs.
Tungsten bolt:
The main component is tungsten (W), with high melting point (3422°C), high hardness, high density and excellent chemical stability.
Tungsten bolts are widely used in the aerospace field because of their excellent performance,
and are used to manufacture engines and components to resist the requirements of high temperature and high pressure environments for connection.
Uses:
molybdenum bolt:
mainly used to fix high temperature resistant equipment and parts, such as glass fiber production of molybdenum plate electrode,
high temperature resistant mechanical parts and sintering furnace clamping parts.
Tantalum bolts:
Because of its good corrosion resistance, ductility and chemical stability, tantalum bolts are widely used in chemical, electronic,
electrical and other industries, especially in the need to replace stainless steel and precious metal platinum occasions.
Tungsten bolts:
In addition to industrial applications, tungsten bolts can also be used as counterweights,
such as golf clubs and gaming mice, to change the weight distribution and balance of equipment.
In summary, molybdenum bolts, tantalum bolts and tungsten bolts have significant differences in main components, performance characteristics and uses.
When choosing which bolt to use, it is necessary to make comprehensive consideration according to the specific use environment and needs.
