Alloy Valve Seat Material Composition
- High Manganese Steel (ZGMn13CrMo): 10%-14% Mn, 1.0%-1.4% C, austenitic wear-resistant steel;
- High Chromium Cast Iron: 11%-13% Cr, 0.8%-1.3% C, martensitic anti-abrasion alloy;
- Cr-Mo Alloy Cast Steel: 1.7%-6.0% Cr, 0.2%-1.2% Mo, excellent high temperature & pressure resistance;
- Nickel Hard Cast Iron (Ni-Hard 1/4): 3.0%-6.5% Ni + 3.0%-7.0% Cr, superior anti-corrosion & fine particle wear resistance;
- Stellite Cobalt Alloy: Ultra high hardness for severe corrosive & high-temperature valve working conditions.
Core Features of Alloy Valve Seat
- Excellent comprehensive hardness & abrasion resistance: Surface hardness adjustable from HB300 to HB720, resistant to particle scouring, mineral slurry and high-pressure fluid erosion;
- Stable dimensional stability after finish CNC machining, tight sealing performance for industrial valves, zero leakage under rated pressure;
- Flexible alloy matching: Select corresponding material for low/high temperature, acid/alkali corrosion, heavy particle wear working environments;
- Good thermal fatigue resistance, not easy to deform or crack under frequent valve opening & closing cycles;
- Custom machined flat sealing surface, flatness tolerance controlled within +/-0.01mm to guarantee long-term sealing lifespan.
Material Limitations
- High manganese steel valve seats perform weakly under long-term fine particle low-stress wear;
- Nickel hard alloy valve seats have slightly lower toughness, not suitable for ultra-heavy impact instant pressure surges;
- Cobalt stellite alloy has superior performance but higher raw material cost for mass orders.
